For one year (1998), I wrote a sf book review column for If Magazine, a web based magazine. However, that magazine has been discontinued, and now you're better off finding reviews at websites such as GoodReads. That being said, I'm archiving these here for historical interest. At one point, a website called Steampunk linked to some of my reviews. After they linked to my book reviews, I started getting a lot more hits. I checked my link-log to see which authors were the most popular. Back in 1998, the ten most popular authors from my reviewers were: Lloyd Alexander, Philip K. Dick, Kim Stanley Robinson, Dan Simmons, Tad Williams, Thomas M. Disch, Norman Spinrad, H. Beam Piper, Sheri S. Tepper, and Theodore Sturgeon. I'm impressed that this list includes some of the older writers.
